David Albright serves as the moderator of the Rotor Electrical Testing forum. Mr. Albright has a broad background in signal analysis and has developed software and hardware for analyzing generator rotor windings for shorted turns.

After receiving a BS from Cornell University and an MS in electrical engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Mr. Albright developed software and hardware for a digital subtraction angiography system for use in cardiac catheterization laboratories.

Mr. Albright has been involved in the design, construction and installation of flux probes for over 20 years. During this period of time, Mr. Albright has analyzed flux probe data from close to a thousand operating generators and high-speed balance pit tests.

Mr. Albright has written papers and presented talks at IEEE and ASME conferences, as well as other industry related conferences.
